As the third largest security company in the nation, we are always on the lookout for quality job candidates who can help us fulfill our mission of keeping bad things from happening to good people. We are passionate about protecting families and we know that we can do that better if we target top talent. Rather than waiting for that talent pool to come to us, we are actively seeking team members whose values align with our own.

Sizzling Summer Referral Campaign

The summer is in full swing and we may just be too hot to handle. We are looking to add 1000+ Security Advisors to our company. We are offering prize drawings to team members who refer quality candidates to DEFENDERS. If your referral starts employment between June 1 and August 15, you will be entered into one or more of the following prize drawings:

  1. If you submit one referral that turns into a hire, you will be entered to win $1500 cash.

  2. If you submit two referrals that result in hires, you will be entered to win a trip to Las Vegas (valued at $2500).

  3. If you submit three or more referrals that lead to hires, you will entered to win a spot on our annual Superstar trip in January 2019.

Using innovative recruiting methods

As a company that operates in 48 states across the nation, we can’t rely on traditional recruiting methods to ensure we are attracting the type of people we need. So, we decided it was time to mix things up. 


This is how DEFENDERSis working to bring in the talent we need:

  • We adopted a new dedicated applicant tracking system to help us scale our hiring needs to match our growth.

  • The recruiting team decided to implement the iCIMS Talent Acquisition Platform which provides up-to-date analytics and customizable dashboards to meet the needs of different recruiters across the company.

  • Using TextRecruit, the recruiting team is now able to communicate with applicants via text, rather than relying on email and phone calls.

  • We are using JobChat, an automated live chat software to help us quickly answer any questions from job applicants.
